OUR STORY
LIFT Church was started in 2006 at McMaster University with a vision to see students come to know Jesus. After seven years of fruitful ministry, the vision of LIFT Church grew to include a heart for all campuses and a desire to walk as a family of believers who make disciples. We are currently on seven campuses in Southern Ontario and plan to expand to Eastern Ontario and Quebec in 2026.
LIFT Church is led by Robin and Laura Wallar, who were part of the first generation of students impacted by LIFT Church at McMaster University. In 2012, they took on leading LIFT Church. They now oversee all seven campuses.
